Vila Baleira (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈvilɐ βɐˈlɐjɾɐ]) is the city and municipal seat of the island of Porto Santo, in the Portuguese Madeiran archipelago. It is an example of one of the few settlements in Portugal with only one civil parish, and only became a city on 6 August 1996.
